Andrea Menard is a Canadian actress and singer of Metis descent based in Saskatchewan. Simple Steps is Andrea's second album and the follow up to Velvet Devil, the soundtrack to her one woman show. The album features 12 original songs, co-written by Andrea Menard and producer Robert Walsh "The songs all come from my experience and reflection of my place in the world as a proud Métis woman." the music moves away from the jazz and blues she is known for and into a country storyteller vein with many references to her ancestry.
