The area of Cuba of course made famous by that other Social Club, this is a band put together by Bob Petrovich who was in Cuba when he chanced upon Los Astros group (Enel Marcos Alvares, Oscar Riquines Batista & Armando Suares Mendes), his enthusiasm for their music meant they were soon joined by Rodovaldo Suarez Suarez and Arley Rubio Torres and Malecon Social Club was born playing their first gig in spring 2005. eautiful music filled with the essence of Cuba .
