Miriam Makeba - 'The Empress Of African Song'
Following on from the DVD, we reviewed recently, comes this CD package of over 40 tracks, which represents well an illustrious career that spans over 50 years. Some of the treats on offer are 'Pata Pata' 'Mbube' 'Click Song No 1', 'My Angel' and 'Tula Ndivile' - recorded in 1954 with the Manhattan Brothers and sounding superb 52 years later. Excellent.
